On November 30 and the first three Sunday nights in December, we’ll meet for an Advent Gathering at 1908 Lloyd Street from 7pm to 8pm. Join us as we worship, pray, and reflect on scripture together as a church family.  

First City invites you to pick up our Advent Guide on Sunday morning or download it below. This guide is thoughtfully crafted to draw you and your family into the beautiful story of God’s redeeming love. Each evening, you’ll find a Scripture reading, reflection questions, a Christmas carol to sing together, and a time to light your Advent wreath as you prepare your hearts for Christ’s coming. The guide is designed to begin using the week of December 1.

Each week, two morning podcasts will be released to guide your daily reflection. (Yes, we’re inviting you to listen to the same podcast multiple times!) Designed to help you slow down and immerse yourself in one of two Scripture passages over five days, each episode includes a Christmas carol, the Scripture reading, reflection questions, and moments of quiet to pause and meditate.
